Organization Admins have the ability to search for a parent and “view what they see” in the Parent Portal. This feature is helpful when you need to troubleshoot, verify updates, or confirm how a parent’s account appears.
When to Use “View What They See”
Here are some common scenarios where this feature is useful:
Confirming Purchases – Check if a parent successfully purchased photo packages or added credits.
Testing Portal Changes – Verify how updates to cabins, sessions, photo settings, or communication preferences appear.
Verifying Bunk Notes & Updates– See if Bunk Notes or activity feeds are showing up as expected.
Guiding Parents Step-by-Step – Follow along while walking a parent through actions during a support call.
How to View a Parent’s Account
Use the Search Bar to find the parent.
Click View Family.
Select the parent’s name.
Click “View what [Parent’s Name] sees.”
Returning to Your Admin Account
To switch back to your admin view, go to Account > Go Back.
Do not use the browser’s back arrow — it will not return you to your admin account.
