Updates - Full messages, schedules, flyers
Push - Quick alerts, app open prompts
SMS - Short reminders, link nudges
π± Updates (In-App)
β PDFs: Fully supported. Display with a preview image and a blue arrow icon to download. Customers can tap on the image to view the PDF.
β Hyperlinks: Supported β full URLs (e.g.,
https://example.com) are clickable.
β Attachments: Images or videos supported. Customers can tap on the image/video to view.
β Formatting: Basic formatting is retained. (Only the web supports HTML formatting). - COMING SOON
π Push Notifications
β Full links display β URLs and PDFs appear in the notification message.
β Tapping the notification opens the app and directs to the Updates section. Customers can click on the link or PDF to open.
β No image or PDF previews within the push notification itself.
β No rich formatting.
π Tip: Keep your push message short and make sure it clearly refers to whatβs in the full update (e.g., βCheck the app for todayβs schedule!β).
π© SMS Messages
β Full links display as plain text and are usually auto-linked on most phones if they include
http://orhttps://.β PDFs display as links and get redirected to the web for download.
β Attachments are not included in SMS.
β No formatting (no line breaks, bold text, etc.).
β οΈ If your update includes a photo, the SMS must tell recipients to open the app to view it.
