The Updates platform allows camps to share announcements, photos, videos, PDFs, and social media posts directly with their audience — all in one central place. Similar to platforms like X and Facebook, Updates makes it easy to keep families informed, connected, and engaged — not just during the summer but all year long.
Camps can use Updates to:
-
Share urgent information — weather delays, schedule changes, or bus updates.
-
Give families a window into camp life with photos, videos, and daily highlights — even moments their camper may not be photographed in.
-
Promote special events like campfires, talent shows, visiting days, or parent nights.
-
Distribute important resources — packing lists, menus, policies, and registration documents.
-
Engage families year-round by sharing offseason updates, registration reminders, newsletters, and sneak peeks of next summer’s activities.
-
Target the right audience by sending updates to specific groups, ensuring families only receive information that’s relevant to them.
By using Updates throughout the summer and beyond, camps can strengthen relationships with families, increase engagement, and keep their community excited about upcoming programs and events — all while reducing reliance on crowded inboxes and social media feeds.

Viewing the Sent Report
Once an Update is posted or scheduled, you can view or export a Sent Report to see a list of recipients and the delivery status of each message.
How to Access the Sent Report:
-
Navigate to the post you want to review.
-
Click “Sent Report.”
The report shows:
-
Total SMS Sent and Total Push Notifications Sent

Each recipient’s phone number
-
The status of the message (e.g., Sent, Failed)
-
A status message explaining why delivery failed, if applicable
-
An option to export the data for your records
For example, a “Failed” status may appear if a phone number is invalid or the message could not be delivered.
