Below are instructions on how to upload photos. Keep in mind that Bunk1’s acceptable file formats are: JPG, PNG, and GIF. Bunk1 begins to fail at uploading photos when exceeding 25 MB file size. The max height and width of a photo is 16,393px × 16,393px.
1. Click Gallery on the top menu bar.
2. Click New Album.
3. Give your album a title.
- We typically suggest labeling your album by session name to keep your albums organized and make it easier for parents to find.
4. Click Next in the bottom right corner.
5. Add Sub-Albums (optional) or click Browse Files to upload photos from your computer.
- Adding Sub-Albums allows you to organize photos by day. Once again, this keeps your photos more organized and also makes it easier for parents to navigate.
6. Give your Sub-Albums a title.
- Usually we would label these by day.
7. Click on the Sub-Album for which you want to upload photos, then click Browse Files to upload photos from your computer.
8. Once you have selected the photos, click Upload in the bottom right corner to prompt upload.
9. Once the photos have fully uploaded, click Finish Album in the bottom right corner to complete the process.
10. Choose whether your album is Hidden or Public.
- We encourage you to keep your albums Hidden until you have finished uploading photos. Otherwise, parents will receive notifications when photos are uploaded and will be able to view the album before it is completed.
11. Confirm you would like to Publish this album by changing the dropdown from Hidden to Public.
12. Within Advanced Settings, you can also select who has access to these photos, who gets a notification when the album is published, and you can add an access code for privacy protection.
- Restricting access is only available to clients who use Bunk1 for Camp Management.
- If you are interested in adding an access code, we suggest you add it to the main, parent album (Session 1) not to the nested Sub-Albums (Day 1, Day 2, etc.), so parents only have to enter in the code one time.
11. Click Save Settings once finished.
12. Click Save Album in the bottom right corner, and you're done!
**Additional Gallery settings can be found under Setup > Setup > Photos.
- Add your camp's logo as a watermark to the bottom of your photos (png. or jpg. format). Low-res downloads or photos shared to social media will include your watermark. Purchased hi-res photos will not contain the watermark.
